Thursday, June 9th .... Another state has come and gone!  We left Illinois and are spending our first night in Indiana. Tomorrow we will ride into Downtown Indianapolis. Today's ride was great weather and beautiful scenery.  We passed through a number of small towns which are in the heart of the agricultural center of the state.  We passed numerous old homes that were part of larger farms.  Almost all of them are proudly displaying the American flag. 

Our day started with the unveiling of our decorated helmets.  It is obvious that some of the riders are more artistically inclined than others.  The voting took place at dinner.

We rode 80 miles, and it was an interesting day.  Wind for the most part was with us, and the temps were in the comfortable range with no rain.  There were only a few rolling hills.  A fun day!
