Sunday, May 15th ..... Was a rest day and I really needed it as I had developed a sinus infection that was draining into my lungs and creating a nasty bout of brochities.  Early in the day I had a tele visit with a doctor and he prescribed antibiotics and cough meds. Last night I was miserable and slept very little.  Hopefully the meds will kick in quickly and I can get better sleep at night.  In the morning we are riding 95 miles to Holbrook, AZ.  I am not sure what effect the meds and the sinus infection/brochities will have on my riding ability.  It will be a real challenge! 

Many people who have done this ride say if you make it to Flagstaff, AZ you have seen the worst!  I hope this is true as the last rides were the toughest I have ever ridden and were back to back!  We have a number of longer rides coming before our next rest stop in Santa Fe, NM.
